A photo of a school play from around 1978. The little witch in the centre of the photo is our very own Miss Picton who is now an LSA at the Junior Site.

And back to around the 1920's with even more children posing for the photographer's camera. Note the old gates which used to be the main entrance to the school. This is now much further up the school wall and this original entrance is now bricked up and forms part of the school wall.

A very old picture of our school, complete with a pupil with her young brother or sister, taken probably around the 1920's

An aerial photo of Neyland taken probably in the 1960's. Note the ferry at the slipway boarding terminal and the obvious lack of Neyland Marina

A similar aerial shot of the lower part of Neyland this time with views of Neyland Marina in the background, but now sadly missing the ferry and slipway terminal.

Another old photo of our school, taken probably in the 1970's

An old class picture of our school taken around 1926. The sheepish looking little boy on the right hand side of the back row is the late Lord Gordon Parry of Neyland who sadly passed away in 2004.

Lord Gordon Parry at the school again, this time as the class teacher in the middle of the picture, surrounded by his Black & White Minstrels. This photo would date to around 19xx.

Another old class photo of our school, pupil names and date unknown - please email us if you recognise anyone in this picture!

Old school staff, Neyland Junior School

Ice factory at Neyland sometime after 1908. It was built to support the flourishing fishing industry that helped establish the town in the early part of the 20th century

The Cleddau King ferry, one of many to serve the crossing between Pembroke Dock & Neyland over the years. The little girl in the light coloured hat standing in front of the motorbike holding her Grandfather's hand is none other than our very own class teacher Mrs Jones. Her Grandfather used to work on the Cleddau King as a Skipper.

This is a colour photo of the Cleddau King. Although you would imagine that this colour photo would not be as old as the previous black and white one it is not the case. The dead giveaway is the lack of the completed Cleddau Bridge in this picture. It can clearly be seen in the black and white image. The ferry continued to operate for a short time after the opening of the bridge before sailing into permanent retirement.

This is an older ferry, the Alumchine that ferried passengers and vehicles between Hobbs Point & Neyland from the 1930's until the 1950's. This was a paddle driven ferry and some more interesting facts about this period of local history can be found at http://www.pembrokedock.org/h_transport.htm

The old air raid shelter in the front school playground. This was erected during World War II and was eventually demolished in the 1970's
